Driving into Usk from the A449, the castle driveway is on the right opposite the fire station, clearly marked with 2 large stone pillars and signs. Follow the drive up and bear left into a large car park, with a map by the kissing gate to aid your visit.

The car park and map are on your right by the oak tree. The path to the castle is uphill to your left under the stone archway, where you will find visitor information and a box for donations. Continue to bear right and uphill, past the gardens, toward the Keep and the gated entrance to the inner bailey.

By Foot

Walking from Usk town centre toward Monmouth and Raglan, please use the footpath on the tarmac castle lane, which is on the left. (Please do not walk across the cattle grid and up the drive for your own safety.)
