Set in the beautiful Vale of Usk in Monmouthshire, only half an hour from Bristol. Our shoots are held on an estate with high banks and deep valleys, and breath-taking scenery. Usk Castle Chase provides a perfect environment for presenting stunning “game” shooting. You’ll see high pheasants, partridges bursting over, hedgerow and driven grouse, and even pigeons put in an appearance to test the most gifted shots.

The entire day can be tailored to suit you, whether you are experienced guns, newcomers, children or novices. Drives can be tailored to your particular requirements under the supervision of our Shoot Captain. Our promatic traps are fully automatic and can be adjusted (even during a drive) to ensure all guns enjoy the challenge of the day and have fun. Guns are transported to each drive, and refreshments are available throughout the day. Lunch is taken in the grounds of the estate.

On an average day 300-400 cartridges may be shot per gun ( these can be ordered in advance) – they must be fibre wads. Coming to one of our Simulated Game days is the equivalent of shooting a 2000 bird day – but at a fraction of the cost!

Non shooting guests are most welcome to join in for the day.
